LATEROOMS.COM (malvern group)
IN-HOUSE Middleweight Graphic Designer | 2016 - 2018
My role at LateRooms.com saw me working in a small team working across the 3 dynamic brands within the Malvern Group; these comprised of LateRooms.com, Super Break, Wizian and the Malvern Group. Working under the Lead designer as Middleweight designer, we together mentored a Junior Designer.
For LateRooms.com, I created predominatly digital work, including animated content such as long-format video and gif for presentation, email, social and web, predominantly customer and partner-facing. In October 2017, I assisted with the brand repositioning (#ItsNeverTooLateRooms) across all digital touchpoints. I also coded and built in HTML and CSS, building and editing promo pages and email. Using GitHub and editing JSON, I created and implemented different artwork for the homepage and deals page for inspirational and sale content. I also worked on creative of the same nature for our LateRooms.com Business brand, and sister brands Super Break and Wizian.

Identity created and developed for Magic Making Department, the LateRooms.com sub-brand for inspiring UK staycations and local travel. The first local destination highlighted was Manchester, with the illustrated postcard below recommending key local landmarks to those who booked a stay with LateRooms.com. Following this, the national Magic Makers influencer campaign featured a pinwheel from which the influencer would use to select their destination and local activity; this can be seen in use in the above showreel (at 00:10).
