Creative Lead at fintech startup Tranch. Leading on design and execution branding, UX, UI across product and web for three distinct payment products. Collaboration with all senior stakeholders (including founders) to design key product features, functionality, and build and release schedules.
Role responsibilities include new and existing product journey and feature development; brand guardianship and guidelines management; brand and mini-brand development across mother brand and 3 distinct payment products; collaboration with founders on brand tone of voice and alignment on all touchpoints.
Backed by leading VCs (Flash Ventures, GFC and Y Combinator) as well as a brilliant team (10 and growing). Working with international team based in New York.
Key projects and achievements include:
Design and build of Tranch product Design System.
Continued product UI and UX overhaul and development, starting February 2024. This includes full product UI uplift across two distinct dashboards for customers and suppliers, breakout of checkout journey and expansion across all application, signup, qualification and payment stages.
Completion of design and build of multi-factor authentication integration across product. This includes product dashboard(s), checkout and a new user login journey, to strengthen account security across the board. Direct collaboration with senior developer, with founders and Head of Engineering signoff.
All payment product launches (Pay Later, Pay Now and Pay by Card functionality. Checkout journeys separate to product dashboard). Full product, new feature and brand development per product launch.
Brand maturity piece and website overhaul Summer 2023. Continued brand development a key part of role.
Conference decks, product demos and animation for founder and CEO keynote talks at international conferences, including opening keynote to 10k attendees at WebSummit 2023.
Mentoring junior developers on best-practice design, UX and UI principles.

As Senior Digital Designer and Sub-Brand Guardian for VeryMe Rewards, (Vodafone loyalty rewards programme), I owned and oversaw the creative evolvement of the sub-brand. Alongside ensuring alignment across all digital touchpoints with the wider Vodafone UK brand, I also created campaign identies, developed creative and UX design across the app and onsite journeys, and full concept and animation for our in-app gamification.
A key aspect of my role was working on new and emerging in-housing opportunities, such as developing new creative for campaigns and expanding the brand asset library. This included partaking in a number of Vodafone UK firsts, as Creative and Project Lead for the April Fools 2019 campaign, and in-housing the VeryMe Instant Wins campaigns with animated assets, for interactive, real-time, in-app gameplay.
Prior to my VeryMe Rewards move, I was Senior Digital Designer in the Vodafone UK Brand team, sitting within the Drive squad. I worked across all digital upper-funnel activity, including leading on the 2019 redesign for the UK Consumer homepage and subsequent work, SEO-rich web design, and paid social advertising. I also supported senior stakeholders in a design capacity for international flagship device launches across these mediums.
