ART DIRECTION and BRAND DEVELOPMENTBramble and Bayleaf are a handmade textile designer and manufacturer based in South West London.
All handmade, eco-friendly, biodegradable, vegan products manufactured by hand by founder Hannah Brabon, my ongoing work with them includes art direction, brand development and product photography. Their product offering currently includes face masks, scrunchies and drawstring pouches.
BRANDING
The Bramble and Bayleaf logo and illustrated berry motif were heavily inspired by Brabon’s love of bold, colourful prints, and a collective love for Matisse’s paper cut outs from towards the end of his career. There is also a lovely, very fitting, very accidental likeness to the food illustrations in ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’.
